The next week the study group met, they worked more to understand the differences in eye colors that the group had. To help visualize this, they graphed eye color of all the children in the group.
In their current study of eyes, the study group also touched on the concept of blindness. To better understand this, they explored the notion of would they be able to travel to the door and back while wearing a blindfold. With touch and hearing (listening to their friends guide them), the kids were able to get to the door and back.
The next time the group met, the teachers were surprised that when the children were shown photos of each friend’s eyes only, they were able to identify each friend.
