We recently took photos of the girls for Christmas photos.  Here are some (ok a whole bunch) of my favorite pictures.

And, it wouldn't be right if doggy wasn't in the pictures too.

Katie's 7th Birthday Celebration in Half Moon Bay

This weekend, Jessica and I went to Half Moon Bay for an animal themed birthday party for one of her friends.  Jessica loved riding the ponies.

She also had fun making crafts with her friends.

There was an animal encounter at the show.  Jessica was lucky to see a Canadian lynx and a snowy owl.

After the party ended, we joined some of Jessica's friends at the Fitzgerald Reserve to explore the tide pools.

Jessica and her friends had a great time looking for animals, etc. in the tide pools.

We saw a lot of anemones.

We only found one starfish though.

Success for Jamison

Most Sundays, Jim and I take Jamison to the park to play while Jessica is at Sunday school.  She has been trying to climb to the top of this structure for weeks, but found it hard and a bit scary.  This past Sunday, she finally did it and was so proud of herself.

Jessica plays Pokemon

Jim is in heaven as he has finally found a partner to play Pokemon with.  Jessica always wants to play the game and has beaten her dad every time she has played him!

Jamison loves dressing up

Jamison loves to dress-up. Her favorite princess is Ariel (as evidenced by how many times she wore that costumer for Halloween events), but she does like to wear other dresses too.  One of her new favorite dresses is her Cinderella costume.

Jamison's Halloween story

At school, Jamison drew and narrated her Halloween story.

playdates for the girls

Both girls love playing with their friends.  Jamison recently had a friend over and they did lots of activities.  They read books.

They jumped on the trampoline.

And, they played on the swings.

Jessica had a playdate at her friend's house too.  They had a good time dressing up.

Jamison at the park

After school, Jamison loves to go play at the park.  One day, she had a picnic with her friend Ellie and they played in the sand.

She also loves to play on the slides.

And, she has fun digging for treasures.

Trick-or-treating on Halloween

On Halloween, the girls went trick-or-treating with some friends.  Here they are posing before we left to go trick-or-treating.

volunteering in Jamison's classroom

On Halloween, I volunteered in Jamison's classroom.  I was the cooking volunteer and helped the kids make waffle faces.  Jamison and her friends sure enjoyed eating waffles.

Jamison loves playing puzzles and such.  She showed me how well she could do them when I volunteered.

Halloween parade at school

There was a Halloween parade at Jessica's school on Halloween.  Jessica once again wore her witch costume.

Before the parade started, all of the parents acted as paparazzi.  I got a few photos of Jessica with her friends.

The whole class also posed for a photo too.

Then, all the kids went inside for a Halloween party.  First, they gathered for some songs.

The kids eventually went to their tables to enjoy a Halloween treat.

trick or treating at Daddy's work

The girls went trick or treating the day before Halloween at Daddy's office. Jessica went as a witch and Jamison went as Ariel.

Jamison loves playing at the park at school.  Here she is having fun in the slide.

Jessica goes to see the Wizard of Oz

Back in October, Jessica and I went to see the Wizard of Oz with some friends.  She loved the show and was happy to get all dressed up too.

carving Halloween pumpkins

We carved our Halloween pumpkins the weekend before Halloween.  Jamison unfortunately missed out on this activity as she was napping.

Jessica actually carved her own pumpkin this year.

She also decorated another pumpkin with drawings (moon and star design), which I helped her cut out.

Since Jamison missed out on this fun time, Jim designed an Ariel pumpkin for her.
