Today, after art class, Jessica and her friends played dress-up.
This blog is about the Glore family. It chronicles the lives of Jim, Jen, Jessica, and Jamison Glore plus all of our animals. Of course, it's mostly so people can see what Jessica and Jamison are up to and how they are growing.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Jamison got all dressed up for Valentine's Day today. She was really excited to wear her Mickey and Minnie dress to school.
Jessica did not get to wear Valentine's Day clothes to school, but she did get a special Valentine's Day party filled with lots of Valentine surprises. Here she is posing with one of her friends at the party.
After school, both Jessica and Jamison went to visit Nana, who got them Valentine's Day toys. They love posing with the big bear at the toys store.

Valentine's Day cookies
After school, Jessica and her friend Isabella did cookie decorating at Kathy's Kreative Kakes for Valentine's Day.
The girls had a blast and of course want to go back again and do more. Who wouldn't like loads of frosting with different tips and a virtually unlimited set of sprinkle options.

disneyland in February (day 2)
We started off our second day at Disneyland with the Luau Breakfast at Paradise Pier. It wasn't too busy when we got there, so the girls got lots of attention from the characters. Here they are posing with Mickey.
As soon as we sat down, Minnie Mouse visited our table.
She was followed by Pluto.
And, then, Stitch stopped by. For some reason, our girls really, really love Stitch or Stitchy as they call him.
Daisy Duck was the surprise guest that came out during breakfast.
After breakfast, the girls posed with the Goofy Statue in the lobby of Paradise Pier.
Once we got to the park, we went straight to the rides. Jessica got to ride at the front of the boat on the Storybook ride.
Jamison looked pretty cute too.
After some rides in Fantasyland, Mom decided the girls could have face paint. Dad was not too thrilled until Jamison chose a tiger for her face paint. He was happy someone was not all princesses.
Here are the girls posing with their face paint.
Here is a close up of Jessica with her swan crown face paint.
And, here is Jamison with her tiger face paint.
For the rest of the day, Jamison kept saying that she was a tiger, roar!
Here is another photo of Jessica and her Daddy on Space Mountain.
And, we got in the Buzz ride at California Adventure before heading home.

Disneyland in February for Benjamin's birthday (day one)
Last weekend, we took the girls to Disneyland to meet up with some of my friends who live in Riverside. We went for a special 3 year birthday celebration for Benjamin. The girls were excited to go to Disneyland yet again and got dressed in their princess best for our trip.
When we first go to the park, the girls were excited to meet Cruella de Ville. She was quite cruel to us parents, but very nice to the girls.
We had some time before meeting up with our friends, so we took the girls on some rides. Jessica and her daddy had fun riding Autotopia together.
And, they also had a blast on Space Mountain.
We met up with the birthday boy, Benjamin, and his family in the early afternoon to begin the celebration. After a quick lunch, the kids enjoyed going on the Winnie the Pooh ride together. Jessica and Benjamin were very sure that they wanted to ride next to each other and not parents. Jamison, on the other hand, was absolutely certain that she would ride in Mommy's lap.
After the Pooh ride, we had the chance to see some characters from Winnie the Pooh. The first stop was with Rabbit.
While we waited to see the next character, Jim snapped some pictures of the girls.
Then, it was time to meet Eeyore.
There was time for one more ride before the birthday party and everyone chose Dumbo.
Afterwards, it was time for the birthday celebration at The Plaza Inn. Everyone got Mouse Ear birthday hats for the celebration.
At the party, everyone (children and adults) were given their own cake to decorate. The girls really enjoyed decorating their own cakes with different frosting colors, sprinkles, and other assorted candies.
Jessica enjoyed making her masterpiece, but eating it was even more fun!
The birthday boy got his wish because he got to meet Mickey and Minnie at the party.
Jessica and Jamison also got to meet them.
While the point of the trip was to celebrate Benjamin's birthday, it was great to also catch up with Elaine and spend some time with Tilly too.
After the party ended, we were able to watch the parade. Jamison got quite the view from up on our shoulders.

Jamison had to be just like her big sister Jessica and sit on the rock wall of course.

Jamison plays with fairies at school
At Jamison's school, while the weather was dry, they had a fairy garden outside where all the children could play. Jamsion had a good time dressing up as a fairy and playing with the jewels.
