a trip to the Children's Museum

This past weekend we took the girls to the Chilren's Museum. Jessica had fun riding in the Cinderella carriage, which is actually a stage coach.



Jamison enjoyed watching all the action from the baby carrier. There was so much to look at.



Jessica really enjoyed playing in the ambulance this trip. I guess all the playing doctor at school has rubbed off. She wanted to transport her daddy to the hospital.

And, then, she wanted to play patient.

Jessica also had a lot of fun playing with the bubbles.

We got this picture from Jessica's school on Friday. Every chair has a baby and Jessica is being the very doting caregiver. What a good mommy she is!

Jamison week 30

After a cold and bad ear infection, Jamison finally started to feel better a few days ago. Once she was feeling better, she started playing with her toys again. She likes to play with her bear toy, so that she can grab the balls and chew them.



She also enjoys playing her piano.



And, Sophie the giraffe is still one of her favorite chew toys.



She also got all dressed up in her giraffe dress to go back to school. She had to look cute after spending so much time in pajamas!



And, once again, Jamison and Jessica show how cute they are together.

Jim's 35th Birthday

Jim's 35th birthday was January 19th. Jessica was very excited to wrap presents for her daddy. She spent lots of time perfecting the gifts with stickers, cards, and about a ton of tape.



Unfortunately, Jamison was under the weather and slept through the entire dinner celebration.



Jessica helped her daddy open presents. It was Legos of course!



And, then, Jessica sang "Happy Birthday" to her daddy and helped him blow out his birthday candles.

Jamison week 29

Jamison had a fun week that just seemed to be full of smiles all the time.



One person that always puts a smile on her face is Jessica. They make a great pair.



Jessica likes to "show" Jamison her work. Here she is showing Jamison her rainbow colored name.



Jamison spent a good deal of time practicing her standing. She's getting much more comfortable holding on to things.



We are going to be in trouble soon.

a trip to the zoo

Jessica and Jamison went to the zoo this weekend. They got all dressed up in their animal outfits for the outing.



Jessica had fun posing with Jamison on the lion statue.



At lunch, our friends joined us at the zoo. All the kids wanted to ride the carriage on the carousel.



Afterwards, we ventured into the children's zoo. Jessica and Leilani played in the hidey hole near the prairie dogs.



And, all the girls posed for a picture.



We finally stopped at the playground so everyone could play. Jamison had fun on a swing for a while.



Meanwhile, Jessica and Leilani picked wedding flowers in the grass.



Jessica shared her wedding flowers with all of us.



While the girls had fun picking flowers, Jamison had fun hanging out.

Jamison's Baptism

Since Jamison's baptism was early in the afternoon, some of our family was able to gather at our house beforehand for an early celebration. Everyone wanted to hold her on this special day and Jamison was more than happy to take photos. Here she is with her godfather David.



And, then, she spent some time with Mary and Stephanie.



She was able to share this special day with Michael, who was celebrating his birthday.



After lots of good food and yummy cake, it was time to head to the church. Jessica posed for her Daddy before we headed out.



Jamison did a quick change in the car (it's hard to wear a baptismal gown in a car seat). It's the same dress that Jessica wore. Her bonnet needed some adjusting.

Jessica was very interested in the altar, so we took a picture before the baptism started. We wanted Jamison in it, but she was busy eating before the baptism started.



Finally, the baptism got underway. Of course, Jamison had fallen asleep during it. Nothing like a little water to wake her up.



The best part of the baptism was when Jessica screamed, "Mommy, why are you up there?" I suppose that I should have told her how the baptism would be different than regular church.

By the time it was done and we were back to taking photos, Jamison was back to sleep. We took a quick family photo and a photo of her with her godparents before rushing her home to finish her nap.

Jessica loves her new princess dress

Jessica loves the new princess dress her Mimi and Papa sent her. She was all ready to pose as soon as she put it on.

Jessica opens more Christmas presents

Christmas came again as Jessica opened presents that her grandparents sent her. Her favorite gift was the Jasmine costume that she got. She just had to wear it.

Jamison week 28

This past week was a tough one for Jamison as she had the stomach flu and was also diagnosed with bronchitis. Despite that, she was all smiles during the week.



We did notice that she was running a bit more tired than normal. In fact, she fell asleep in her bounce-a-roo. One minute she was bouncing and the next minute she was slouched over sleeping.



Jamison has started to stand to play with her activity table and baby piano.



And, Jessica likes to play with her by showing her sister how to use her toys.

Jamison week 27

Jamison was back in action as soon as we got home from Tahoe. We think she missed her bounceroo as she spent a lot of time sitting while she was up in Tahoe. Here she is taking it for a spin as soon as we got back home.

And, if she wasn't practicing standing or jumping, she was sitting up and chewing on her toys. She really likes to chew on this one book in particular.



The other thing we've noticed is that she likes a selection of toys in front of her and its amazing what she tries to put into her mouth!

Everyone was excited to get out of the house and go sledding on the hill outside our condo. Even Jamison ventured out to see everyone take a turn on the hill. We made sure that she was all bundled up.



Jim went down the hill first to pave the way.
