Carving Pumpkins

Friday night we carved pumpkins. As soon as we started, Jessica decided that they were both smelly and gross and wanted nothing to do with scooping out the pumpkins.



While we carved faces into the pumpkins, Jessica poked holes in them. Jamison sat by and slept through the whole process.



By the end of pumpkin carving, Jamison had woken up and was ready to pose with Jessica and our pumpkins.

Harvest Festival at Jessica's School

This past Thursday was the Harvest Festival at Jessica's school. She went as Sleeping Beauty and then got her face painted as a butterfly.



She spent most of the night swinging on the swings.

Halloween in Disney - October 24th

Sunday morning we started the day with Breakfast with Minnie and Friends in Disneyland. On the way, we ran into Minnie dressed as a witch.



By the time we got to breakfast, Minnie had done a quick change.



Jessica also got to pose with many of Minnie's friends like Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Chip and Dale, Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore.











After breakfast, we took a quick family photo in front of the castle.



Then, it was off to see more princesses before heading home. Jessica had to see the new princess Rapunzel one more time. Now, she can't wait to see the new movie Tangled.



Then, it was off to the Princess Faire were she saw Ariel, Tiana, and Cinderella.







She also got to see Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Belle one more time before we left.

Halloween in Disney - October 23rd

Saturday was another day of meeting characters. We started off at California Adventure. Jessica had fun meeting both Minnie and Mickey again and she got to pose with Jessie.







Jessica even had her face painted. She chose hearts.

Halloween in Disney - October 22nd

We woke up bright and early Friday morning and headed to Fantasyland. Both Jessica and Jamison rode Dumbo together.



After Dumbo, it was off to Toon Town to meet more characters. Jessica got to take photos with Minnie and Goofy.





Mimi helped Jessica and Jamison show off their Halloween outfits.



Then, on our way to California Adventure, Jessica ran into Pinnochio, Donald Duck, and Chip and Dale.







Jamison got a very cute Minnie Mouse hat once we got to California Adventure. It kept her head nice and warm.



Later, we went back to Disneyland so Jessica could catch the celebrate parade before naptime. She had fun dancing in the street.



That night, it was Mickey Trick or Treat at Disneyland. Jessica and Jamison went as Sleeping Beauty and Belle.



Lots of special characters were out at the park that night. Jessica got to pose with Genie from Aladdin.



Before heading back to the hotel, we caught the Halloween parade on Main Street.

Halloween in Disney - October 21st

Last week, we went down to Disneyland for Mickey's Halloween Trick or Treat. Jessica was very excited to be at Disneyland and wanted to see lots of characters.



Jamison took her first trip to Disney in stride and decided to nap as soon as we got there.



Jessica had lots of fun with her Mimi and Papa as we waited in line to see characters. First stop was Tinker Bell and friends.



Jessica was excited to meet Terrence and Tinker Bell for the first time.





As we left the fairy area, Jessica was thrilled to run into Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother, and Belle. She wasn't so thrilled to see the Beast though and he had to stand behind Belle in order to make Jessica comfortable.





Jessica finally decided to go on some rides. She had fun getting dizzy on the tea cups.



Next, we went on Small World. Jessica sung Small World the whole way and pointed out characters while Jamison was fascinated by the lights and sounds.





Jessica eventually tired of rides and we went to the Princess Faire to meet more princesses.







Then, it was off to Toon Town to meet Mickey and his friends. Jamison even got in the action when it came to meeting MIckey.





Jamison was pooped by the end of the night.
