Jamison loves to tattoo herself with markers.  She knows that she is not supposed to draw on her body, only on paper.  Yet, she loves to sneak away and mark herself up.

Jamison got all dressed up for school the other day and took photos with her daddy. First stop was the bench outside our front door. She has the routine down pat!

Then, she decided that she wanted to take a picture by the pinwheel in our yard.

Jamison is a little fashion diva in training.  Today, she sported these very fashionable glasses most of the day.

the girls make pizza bread

Tonight, the girls made pizza bread for dinner.  I am pretty sure there was more eating of cheese and sauce than actually making of pizza bread.

And, as usual, the best part of making dinner is getting to lick the spoon at the end.

I've seen a few families who have the kids cook at least one meal a week.  I'm thinking I like this.

Victoria's 5th Birthday Party

This last weekend, Jessica went to a pool party to celebrate Victoria's 5th birthday.  Here she is goofing around with her friends Conrad and Arden.

After swimming for so long, everyone was really hungry.

last weekend at the zoo

Last weekend, we took the girls to the zoo.  They always have a good time posing on the line statues.

They saw the gorillas goofing around and thought they they should act like them. Here were the gorillas.

And, here were the girls. Kind of similar except the instigator in our case is the big one.

Here sister loves all the attention though.

Jessica continued to act like a gorilla.

And, she decided to show us all how she measured up to a gorilla.

Eventually, we made it over to the carousel for a quick ride.

And, Jamison took a turn petting a turtle / tortoise.

Today, Jessica and Jamison went for a swim lesson. Here is Jamison waiting to swim.

Jamison's second day on the big side of school

Today was Jamison's second day on the big side of school.  The first thing she did was go to play on the play structure.  She scaled the climbing wall today on her first try and this is a kid who cannot even reach the pedals on the trikes yet.

She then went over to play in the sandbox to fill the watering can with sand.

Before I left, she found the water table with bubbles and fish. I think she was excited.

I'm assuming that the rest of her day went well.  When I went to say goodbye, she didn't even look up from the water table.  It seems like she is doing really well and does not need mommy hanging around anymore.

Jamison's first day at the big side of school

Today, Jamison started on the big side of the preschool.  I spent a bit of the morning there to see how she took to it.  The first thing she wanted to do was climb all over the play structure.

Then, it was off to the sand pit where she dumped and filled.

She loved collecting the water that was coming from the big rock.

And, when she had enough, she watered the flowers.

She went for a ride on the small trike.  She had to be pushed because she is too small to reach the petals.

Eventually, she went inside the art room to draw a picture for her sister.

After I left school, one of the Jessica's friends spent the day taking Jamison around the school.  She helped her get a drink of water at the water fountain.

She spent time with her in the nest.

And, she took her for a ride in the wagon.

an evening at Great America

The 3rd of July, we headed out to Great America after work with the girls.  Here is a picture we grabbed while waiting for the car ride.

Meanwhile, Jamison had fun on the smaller rides.

Jamison's week off school

Jamison had the entire 4th of July week off of school.  She went to the local Children's Museum and Zoo and had lots of fun riding her bike around the neighborhood.

Here she is on her new Strider bike.  She goes a bit slow now, but she will be cruising pretty soon.

At the local zoo, she had fun posing on the animal statues.

Last weekend, Jessica wanted to go mini golfing.  Some of her friends joined us.

Jamison seems to get around the house these days. She loves arts and crafts and doing stamps is one of her favorite activities.

She also loves to play with her baby dolls.

Jessica is so excited that her sister will finally play dress-up with her.  Recently, Jamison wanted to wear high heels and Jessica was helpful in helping her put them on.

The girls also did a fashion show.

Afterwards, Jessica tried on her new Brave dress for us.

happy 4th of July

On the 4th of July, the girls woke up and were happy to celebrate the 4th of July.

Jessica decided that she wanted to participate in a local bike parade.  After decorating the girl's bikes, we headed out for the celebration.

Once we arrived at the final destination, the girls got glitter tattoos and bounced in a bounce house.

Later in the evening, Jessica had a chance to play with poppers.  She decided that she liked them and wanted more!

berry picking

Last weekend, we took the girls berry picking with friends.  They hung out in a wagon before we started picking berries.

Some of the berries were just getting ripe.

Jessica had a great time picking the berries.

Towards the end of our adventure, the kids were done with berry picking and piled into the two wagons for a ride to check-out.  The big kids were in one wagon and the little kids were in the other wagon.

On the way out, the kids wanted to check out the hay ride.  First we did normal photos and then we did funny faces.

Meanwhile, Jamison goofed off on the way to the parking lot.
