rainy saturday means fun at the airplane musuem

Jessica had fun at the airplane museum this weekend. She likes to drive the planes like the pilot.

It was preschool day at the museum and Jessica got a tour, storytime, and a project that yielded a small flying plane. She went to her Daddy's office to show him the plane. You can see for yourself who the real child is in the video as Jim decided he was going to fly the plane and let Jessica observe.

more fun at gym

Jessica moved up to the older gym class, but she still has the same old fun. She like to play in the ball pit, jump on the trampoline with her friend Isabella, and swing.

a fun morning at the Children's Museum

This morning, Jessica and I gave dad a break and went out to the Children's Museum. Jessica has been enough that she has her favorite spots.

We had to stop at the bubble exhibit and make bubbles.

She wanted to do painting, which means that she wanted to visit the art room. She was excited to see that the activity of the day was watercolor painting.

She wanted to build with the blocks, which looked a lot like rearranging the last structure someone had made.

And, she wanted to play with the funnels and shovels in the sand table (coveted items by all the kids it seems).

a trip to the zoo

This weekend we took Jessica to the zoo. She was very excited to see the animals. She wanted to see the giraffes, tigers, and lions.

There are no live elephants at the zoo, but she sure had a good time with this little guy.

And, here is a picture of the cute little emperor tamarins.

Disneyland -- Meeting Mickey

The entire time we were at Disneyland, Jessica wanted to meet Mickey. The last day we were really lucky to meet him twice.

Fun at Disneyland

Jessica had lots of fun at Disneyland. She had the most fun in Fantasyland and loved riding Dumbo, the Merry-Go-Round, and the tea cups (over and over again).

Disneyland -- Goofy's Kitchen Dinner

One night, Jessica and her cousins went to Goofy's Kitchen for dinner. She got to dance with both Goofy and Pluto during the kitchen dance.

She also had lots of friends sign her book. Her favorites were Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, and Pluto. She loved Pluto.

Disneyland -- Minnie's Breakfast

Jessica and her cousins had lunch with Minnie and her friends at Disneyland while we were there. She got to meet Minnie and lots of her friends.

Disneyland - Princess Lunch

When we went to Disneyland over New Year's, Jessica had lunch with the princesses. She was very excited to have lunch with them.

She met Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White and Belle.

Presents from Santa

On Christmas morning, Jessica was ready to open more presents. Santa brought her a Sleeping Beauty doll -- just like she asked.

She also got lots of princess books, which she wanted to read right away.

She got more princess dresses. She had to wear the Ariel costume immediately.

Cookies and milk for Santa

On Christmas Eve night, Jessica left out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. She wanted to carry the cookies herself. They only landed on the floor a few times. I'm sure Santa didn't mind.

She had fun playing with the carrots that she left out for the reindeers.

And, she even stole a quick sip of milk from Santa's cup. One last sip before bed.

On Christmas morning, she found all of the treats gone. Almost. She was a bit sad that the reindeers hadn't finished their carrots.
