Over the winter break, Jessica went ice skating with a friend.

The best part of ice skating was the hot chocolate of course.

Christmas is here!

On Christmas morning, the girls woke up super early.  We held them in our room while we woke up everyone else.

Jessica tried to escape, but we locked the door!

Both girls were excited to see what presents Santa had left them.

They dove right in!

Christmas Eve Dinner

Here are the girls posing on their way out of the house to Christmas Eve dinner.

At dinner, the girls got their own special table at dinner.  It was better than any kid's table I sat at as a child and they absolutely loved it.

The girls made and decorated cookies for Santa (and our family) on Christmas Eve.

The girls had fun relaxing at home during winter vacation.  The weather made it seem more like spring vacation.  Regardless, they went to the park and played and made sand castles.

They decorated the concrete with chalk art and words.

Jessica and Jamison spent some time scooting around.

This evidently became one of Jamison's favorite places to sit.

Over the holidays, Duke had surgery on his leg.  The girls were all about cuddles to help him get better.

Teddy Bear Tea

During the holiday break, Jessica and Jamison went to a Teddy Bear Tea with their friends.  When we got to the tea, the girls posed for a quick picture.

Jamison stopped for a quick picture with the elves and teddy bear.

Jessica got to participate in the holiday show.

Zoo Lights

Over the holidays, Jessica and Jamison went to the Zoo Lights celebration at our local zoo. They loved the train ride.

The new playground with "snow" was a big hit too!

School Holiday Program

Before winter break, Jessica participated in her school's holiday program.

After the holiday program, Jessica and her class enjoyed a holiday celebration with cookies and hot chocolate in her classroom.

Jessica was happy to show Nana her classroom.

Jamison makes holiday cards

Jamison's class had each of the kids make holiday printed animal cards as Christmas gifts. Here is a picture of Jamison making her printed cards.

The Nutcracker

Before Christmas, the girls went to see the Nutcracker.  This was the first time that Jamison went to see the show. We got a quick photo of the girls all dressed up before we left.

Once we got to the show, the girls had the opportunity to see Santa.

Our Disney Thanksgiving Cruise -- Last Day at Sea

The last day at sea the girls went swimming again.  Jessica loved the water slide.

We also got a chance to see the movie Frozen.  The girls dressed up for the occasion.

Afterwards, they got to see Peter Pan again.

And, they made one final stop in the "Ariel Room" as Jamison called it.
