A Sand Castle Birthday Celebration for a Friend

This weekend, Jessica and Jamison had a sleepover near the beach for their friend's birthday party.  After a fun sleepover night, the girls were ready for a sand castle building adventure!

At first, Jamison enjoyed playing in the water and looking for sea shells.

Jessica was really interested in building a real sand castle.

The girls had lots of fun carving their creations.

Building the moat was also a really fun job.

Jamison is back to school

After Winter Break, Jamison enjoyed going back to school in early January.  At school, she has been working on writing and patterns.

She also made herself a cape for being a Super Reader.

Jamison's Half Birthday Celebration at School

In December, Jamison had a 1/2 birthday celebration at school since her birthday lands in the summer.   Everyone in Kindergarten enjoyed a special birthday snack.

Jamison loves Kindergarten.  Morning meeting is always fun and she enjoys playing different games.  Here she is trying to match a person to a shoe so she can say "Good Morning" to them.

This month she learned about Hanukkah from a friend's Family Share. She enjoyed the games and treats!

They are also learning about feelings right now in Kindergarten.  Is she sad or mad?

She's also working on writing and reading.

The holiday party before Winter Break was also really fun.

a trip to the zoo

Back in September, the girls went to the zoo with Jim and their Mimi.

It isn't a zoo trip without lots of posing on the statues.

The girls thought that the baby flamingos were pretty cute too.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Party

Jamison and Jessica went to a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed birthday party for Jamison's classmate.  The girls loved all the candy themed decorations and candy of course.  This picture sums it all up.

Mousse is a good boy

Jamison loves to cuddle with Mousse and he lets her climb all over him.

Ellie's 4th Birthday Party

In September, Jamison went to her friend's birthday party.  She was super excited because it was Frozen themed and she got to wear her Elsa costume.

Jamison enjoyed the Frozen show with Anna and Elsa.

She also loved getting a balloon wand.

The cupcakes were good too!

Here is a small sampling of Jamison from school in September.  She loves to paint at the easel.

She has fun when she goes to music.

For Back to School Night, Jamison made a scene for us to imitate. Jim did a good job!

The art teacher visited and read "Harold and the Purple Crayon" and talked to the class about lines.  Everyone then worked on drawing a line monster.

Jamison's class also practiced for picture day.  Jamison had fun posing for the camera and doing dress-up.

Everyone in the class has a weekly job.  Here Jamison is practicing loading the dishwasher as the Kitchen Helper.

First Day of School

Here is Jessica on her first day of 2nd grade.

Once we got to school, she got settled in to her spot at her table.

Jamison started ELC-B a few days later and gets to enjoy one more year without uniforms.
