Jessica modeled her turkey hat for Crazy Hat day at camp. Unfortunately, she decided not to wear it to camp though.

Karuna's 3rd birthday party

A few weekends ago, Jamison was invited to her friend's 3rd birthday party.  Jessica tagged along for the party.

The girls had fun playing with the water table and sand pit in the backyard.

Jessica was excited to get her face painted.  She thought that was the best part of the party.

a Benihana birthday dinner

A few days after Jamison's official birthday, we had a small celebration at Benihana's for family.  Amazingly, Jessica decided to wear her hat this time.

Jessica and her cousins enjoyed watching the cooking show.

The chef made a double volcano for the kids.

Jamison enjoyed her birthday treat from Benihana's as well as the Elmo cake her Nana got her.

Happy 2nd Birthday Miss Jamison

Jamison celebrated her 2nd birthday recently.  She woke up to birthday pancakes in the shape of Mickey.

For the real birthday celebration, Jim and I made her Elmo cupcakes.

After a birthday dinner of pasta, it was time for cupcakes and presents.

Jamison really dug into her cupcake.

Jessica did as well.

Jamison quickly realized that the best part of birthdays is the presents.

The best present by far was the car rack track that Gaga got for her.

Jamison finishes the Toddler Studio

At the end of June, Jamison wrapped up her time in the Toddler Studio.  Both classes, Monday-Wednesday and Tuesday-Thursday had parties on their last days.

On the Monday-Wednesday class party day, I got there a bit early and had a chance to play with Jamison.  She really likes to spend time writing -- over the sign-in sheet nonetheless.

She also practiced her sorting at the light table.  Everything is still the color blue.

The party was during snack time and everyone enjoyed lots of yummy treats.

The next day, the Tuesday-Thursday class had their party.  The parents arranged quite a lunch spread.

I think Jamison liked the treats best.

After her snack, she showed me the new water fountain that was recently put in.  It is one of her new favorite spots.

an aquarium trip on father's day

For Father's Day, we decided to take a trip to the Academy of Science as we all needed some time out of the house.  Jamison was finally back to feeling better after two highly contagious rashes and we thought she was finally able to be out in public.

The Academy of Science was a good choice because the girls love looking at all the fish in the aquarium.  They decided to pose for the camera in front of one of the big fish tanks.

Since it was Father's Day, Jim jumped in too.

The Jellyfish are always cool to look at.

In addition to the aquarium, there is also a rain forest exhibit, where the girls loved watching the butterflies.

And, back to a few solo photos of the girls in front of one of the fish tanks. I think Jamison was caught mid "Cheese".

Jamison at gym

Last weekend, Jamison had a great time at gym.  She loves the ball pit with all the balls.  Of course, when you ask her, every ball is blue.

She also was really excited to climb the rock wall and wanted to do more, more, and more.

Brave

We took Jessica and Jamison to see Brave on opening night.  They were excited to see Merida.

Jamison loves her meow Squishy.  Generally I would say it is debatable if Squishy feels the same, but he certainly did not get up an leave!

cooling down on a 90 degree day

The weather warmed up this weekend with 90 degreee temperatures today.  Jamison has been under the weather all week with 2 highly contagious rashes.  We finally let her outside today to cool down and play with her sister now that she is looking better.  The girls had a blast playing with the big ball sprinkler.

Disneyland June 2012 Day 2

On our second day at Disneyland, the girls were excited to meet Chip and Dale.

We spent a bit of time at California Adventure seeing the 3D shows.  This is our happy father's day photo. Jamison told her Daddy no when we asked her to pose for a photo.  No!

She did smile for me though.

Because of all the spots on her face, we cut the day short and visited the doctor.  Despite being sick, she was a happy girl on the way home.  And, someone is now a big girl sitting forward in the car.

Disneyland June 2012 Day 1

For Father's Day, Jim decided that he wanted to go to Disneyland.  This decision was made at noon on the Friday after I got back from Russia and we were in the car by 7pm that night. Let's just say that it was a last minute trip.  When we got to the park on Saturday morning, Jim and Jessica rushed over to ride Space Mountain.  Jamison was super thrilled to go on the rockets.

While we waited for their ride to finish, Jamison had fun playing with the water ball.

Later that morning, we went and visited Tinkerbell.

Merida, from Brave, was visiting.  While Dad stayed in line, the girls colored Brave pictures.

Jamison decided that she did not want to pose with Merida.

Toontown was a big hit as usual. Jessica posed with Pluto.

Both girls drove the car, but Jamison is so small that you cannot even see her.

Pictures with Minnie and Mickey were a must.

Then, it was on to riding Big Thunder Mountain.

And, later that night, Jamison made it very clear to us that she wanted to ride the neigh neighs.
