and both girls fall asleep on Jim during his watch. He swears he just turned around for a second and they were out.





In his defense, they were both sick. I just don't see Jamison curling up on the hardwood floor though.

Jessica's ballet recital...finally

We finally have gotten the video of Jessica's ballet recital from June. Here is the performance.



She is the 4th from the left to begin with.

a trip to happy hollow

This past weekend, we took the girls to Happy Hollow. We got there when it first opened and there was no one there. The girls got to ride the rides again and again. Jessica's favorite ride was the Frog Hopper as usual.





While Jessica did the Frog Hopper, Jamison rode the fire engine ride. At the same time, she also had fun showing off her wave.



The girls also enjoyed riding in the cars together.





Everyone enjoyed riding Danny the Dragon.





Jessica finally took a turn on the racers and really enjoyed it.



The girls loved the big tunnel slide (or at least Jessica did).





Jessica had fun on the stepping stones.



And, everyone had fun riding the carousel.

Jessica's first day of Room B

Here is Jessica and her friends Isabella, Ella, and Olivia today as they started Room B.



Jessica picked her princess tutu outfit herself. Surprise surprise. She will not be dressing herself on photo day!

Today, Jessica had fun sporting her Snow White dress from Mimi with her sparkling Halloween mask that she made (note all the jewels she adorned it with).

Jamison still loves to smile. Everyone says that she is a super smiley baby.



She has been having lots of fun feeding her baby doll lately.



While we were out getting breakfast, Jamison entertained herself with a straw.

And, she has really enjoyed her musical / light-up Mickey Mouse car.

a trip to the zoo

A few weekends ago, Jessica and Jamison went to the zoo with their friends. All of the kids had fun posing on the lion statues.











The girls had fun riding the Little Puffer.



They also had fun looking at the giraffes.

bunny obsessed and other things

The highlight of this week has been Jamison's obsession with a musical and moving bunny that we have. Anytime she cries, Jessica runs to get it for her in an effort to cheer her up. Tonight, she also figured out how to turn it off and on by herself, which was a whole new source of excitement and pride for her.

Unfortunately for Jamison, she became an intimate acquaintance of the brick walkway in front of our house last night while playing outside. Her face pretty much went splat right onto the bricks when she took a tumble. Despite lots of blood yesterday, her face is looking better one day later.



Earlier in the week, we had snapped some photos of Jamison and Jessica before Jamison's cut up face incident. They are both looking cute, but Jamison sure does not want to pose for any pictures these days.






Jamison has also been demonstrating how big of a girl she is. She has decided to eat corn on the cob like the rest of us.



And, because I left her sippy cup at home one night, she was able to show us that she can in fact already drink from a straw.

This was absolutey huge for Jim and I as Jessica was almost 2 before she figured out that trick.

Jessica and Jamison go to Bella's 4th Fairy Garden Tea Party

This past weekend, Jessica and Jamison went to Bella's 4th birthday party, which was fairy garden themed. Everyone got a tutu, fairy wings, jewelry, glitter hairspray, and their own make-up. Jessica enjoyed the make-up part of the day the best!



The girls thought that getting dressed up like fairies was fun.




Jamison, on the other hand, loved the bubble area. She made a mess of herself with the bubble solution as she dumped it all over the place and thought the big bubble wands made excellent chewing sticks.

All of the girls gathered around the table for a garden tea party lunch.



After lunch, the girls played musical wands, which is like musical chairs.



Jessica was the big winner.

And, Jamison just had a really good time walking around.

These days, it is really hard to catch a photo of Jamison as she is constantly in motion. It seems that the only way she stops for a few seconds is to look at picture books.



She's been spending a lot of time playing with the kitchen lately.

And, evidently, she thinks that Duke makes a good drum.

Each night, Jamison runs around her room during book time. Jessica and Jamison had been fighting over the little chair. Jessica came up with sharing as a compromise.



Being a toddler sure is exhausting.




Don't even ask me how this can possibly be comfortable.

Jessica's gymnastics camps show

Last week, Jessica went to gymnastics camps. At the end of the week, there was a show. Here she is in the show.

This Saturday, the girls went with their friend Isabella to Great America. The girls wanted to do the car ride first.





Then, Jessica decided she just had to kiss Snoopy.



Jamison loved taking a whirl on the airplane ride.



And, everyone thought the carousel was fun.





Jessica and Isabella enjoyed the cat ride.



And the girls took a spin in the covered cars.



Both Jessica and Isabella enjoyed the drop ride too.
