the girls visit with the Easter Bunny

Right before Easter, we took the girls to see the Easter Bunny.  They were both happy to say hi to him.

The Easter Bunny gave the girls a bunny (Jamison) and a chicken (Jessica), which the girls loved. Here are a few more photos of them that we took.

At school, Jamison has been having lots of fun playing out on the patio.  Finger painting is a big hit and she wants to play with all the colors.

She frequently comes home covered in paint.

She also loves playing in the water table.  This usually results in multiple changes of clothes.

Now that the weather is nicer, Jamison likes to take walks down the block during the day.  She can be found strolling with her baby down our street.

Well, Jamison can finally say Jessica....

Once this happened, I was certain that Jamison would drop GaGa in favor of Jessica when calling her sister by name.  GaGa is still hanging on though!  I am not sure I am ready for her to drop it anyways.

Jamison has some fun at gym class

Lately, Jamison has been having lots of fun at gym class.  Here she is hanging like a monkey.

And, then another day, she was showing her balancing and somersault skills.

Last month, we went to the zoo. As usual, the girls loved climbing on the lion statues.

We came across a resting animal that we had never seen before.

The girls and I had fun riding the train.

Jamison had the most fun out of all of us though.

And, some of the animals and wildlife were pretty cool too.

With Daylight Savings time upon us, the girls are really enjoying playing outside before dinner.  Jamison enjoys playing in the outdoor house.

Both girls enjoy jumping on the trampoline.

And, she also likes to throw the ball to the dogs. 

Jessica loses tooth #2

As soon as the dentist pulled out Jessica's first tooth, we immediately noticed that the tooth next to it was loose too.  The other day, when I picked her up at school, she showed me that it had gotten really loose over the course of the day.  It was starting to cause issues while eating, etc.  Last night, while she was eating dinner, she was in a lot of pain as it got even looser and was bleeding. It was barely hanging on anymore.  With a slight tug from me, which was painful, but maybe better in the long run according to Jessica (verdict is still out on that one), she had lost her second tooth.

Of course, in the excitement of the tooth coming out, small amount of blood, and showing it to her sister, we managed to misplace the tooth! What was the tooth fairy going to do without a tooth?  Jessica left her a note explaining she had lost her tooth and then lost it again!

Because of all the commotion, Jessica got a late night trip to Baskin and Robbins last night.

Luckily for Jessica, the tooth fairy also knows whenever someone loses a tooth, regardless if they still have it or not. Jessica left her the note and was rewarded with a note, a dollar, a chocolate coin, and a special Lalaloopsy!

Jamison has fun outside at school

Recently, Jamison has been enjoying the nice weather and playing outside at school.  She loves to ride the tricycles around the track in the Big Yard.

Yesterday, she had so much fun with water and paint. This was already outfit #2 of the morning.

100 days of school

Jessica celebrated 100 days of Kindergarten today.

Last night, we went ice skating with some friends.   Jamison spent a little bit of time trying to learn how to ice skate.

She decided that she mostly liked sitting in her stroller and having mom push her around however.

Jessica and Isabella enjoyed skating around the rink together.

Jessica loses her first tooth

About a month ago, Jessica started to grow in an adult tooth.  Unfortunately, her baby tooth had not fallen out yet.  So, the big tooth grew right behind the little tooth.

After waiting four weeks as the dentist suggested to see if the tooth would fall out with lots of wiggling,  we found ourselves at the dentist's office because the tooth had not fallen out.  After some laughing gas and a big set of tweezers, Jessica "lost" her first tooth.

She was very excited for the tooth fairy to come visit her.  She wrote her a note before going to bed.

Alexia's 1st Birthday Party

A few weeks ago, Jessica and Jamison were invited to Alexia's 1st birthday party at a fun play space.  Here is Alexia celebrating her special day.

The girls were excited to celebrate with her.

There were lots of things for the girls to do in the play space.  Jamison immediately went to play with the trains at the train table.

Jessica sought out the dress-up area and turned herself into Little Red Riding Hood.

Jamison took a rest in a chair, but note that it was a quick rest only.

Meanwhile, Jessica and Isabella invited us to see a puppet show.

Eventually, the girls made it over to the gymnastics area and had fun jumping through the air.

Jamison also had fun climbing on the obstacles.

Jamison enjoyed building with the big Lego blocks.

Jamison had fun zooming trucks around.

Trying to get a group picture was a fun experience.  We eventually got them to all sit at least.

The best part of any party is the sweets of course.

After cake, it was back to playtime.  Jessica and Isabella had fun playing in a boat.

a pump it up birthday party for Severin

Earlier in the month, Jessica and Jamison went to Severin's 3rd birthday party at Pump It Up.  Both girls had fun on the slides.

They also had fun in the bounce house playing Monster and attacking the monster (Jim) with balls.

It was a fun party!
