Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, before we sat down for dinner, we were able to get all of the kids together for a quick picture.



After dinner, it was all about opening presents. Jessica got more mermaid Barbies from her cousins.



Jamison got a fruit cutting set, which she loved.

Christmas part 1

Given all of the present giving at Christmas, we try to spread gift opening out over a few days to not overwhelm the girls. The first gifts that the girls opened where from their Mimi and Papa.

At first, Jamison was not quite sure what to do with all the presents and I had to help her.



But, she quickly got into the whole present opening process.






Jessica, on the other hand, jumped right into her presents and was thrilled to find Barbie after Barbie -- 12 Dancing Princesses and Charm School.





Jamison was thrilled with her cupcake shape sorter set and ball drop.

Rodoni Family Photos

Once again, we took Rodoni family photos for my mom for Christmas. Unfortunately for us, Jamison was not really into the whole picture taking process this time around as evidenced by her happy demeanor in this photo.



Later that day, we found out that she had a pretty bad ear infection, so that sort of explained things.

Despite her unhappy mood, we did manage to get a few good photos.

December 2011 Trip to Disneyland - Day Three

Our third and last day at Disneyland started out with even more Big Thunder Mountain.



While Jessica rode the rollercoaster, Jamison had a good time walking around.



On our way back to Fantasyland, we came across a great surprise-- Pochahontas.



Later in the day, we visited Pixie Hollow.




And, we went over to Goofy's Sky School at California Adventure.



We also had a date with the princesses for lunch. Jessica and Jamison were excited to greet Ariel.



Jamison made herself a beautiful crown.



It was fun to meet the other princesses.

December 2011 Trip to Disneyland - Day Two

Day 2 started out with more rollercoasters. This time, Jim and I alternated taking Jessica on Big Thunder Mountain.



We even took a family photo in front of it because Jessica enjoyed this ride so much.



Another big hit was Ariel's ride in California Adventure. This may have been Jamison's favorite ride at the park.



That night, we took the girls to Goofy's Kitchen for dinner. While we waited for our table, Jessica had another opportunity to tell Santa what she wanted for Christmas.



Eventually, it was our turn to go into dinner. Goofy posed for a picture with us.



Pluto lead Jessica to our table.



And, then he posed with Jessica and Jamison.



The girls enjoyed all the character visits that night.

December 2011 Trip to Disneyland - Day One

Before Christmas, we took the girls to Disneyland to enjoy the holiday decorations. As soon as we got there, both Jessica and Jamison wanted to see lots and lots of characters. Luckily, a bunch of them were out and about on Main Street.





Jessica also wanted a family photo in front of the Christmas tree.



The girls also took a few photos together.






For Jessica, this trip was all about roller coasters. She wanted to go on them again and again. One of her favorites was riding the Matterhorn with her Daddy.



While Jessica road rollercoasters, Jamison and I hung out as she isn't quite tall enough for those big girl rides. She was all about climbing in ways that she shouldn't and working on fastening buckles. She was majorly obsessed with my backpack for this reason.




Both girls had fun riding the tea cups.



And, they enjoyed riding the rocketships, although sharing the controller was hard.



The castle was quite beautiful all light up at night.
