Our Disney Thanksgiving Cruise -- Last Day at Sea

The last day at sea the girls went swimming again.  Jessica loved the water slide.

We also got a chance to see the movie Frozen.  The girls dressed up for the occasion.

Afterwards, they got to see Peter Pan again.

And, they made one final stop in the "Ariel Room" as Jamison called it.

Our Disney Thanksgiving Cruise -- Thanksgiving Day at Sea

Thanksgiving Day we were at sea.  We started the day with a character breakfast.  The girls got to see Mickey and his friends.

During the breakfast, everyone got a special hat.

After breakfast, the girls ran into Chip and Dale while walking on the ship.  Chip and Dale brought them over to the picture area.

Jamison ended up tickling Chip.

Then, it was time for quick picture before moving on.

Our Disney Thanksgiving Cruise - Castaway Cay

Our boat docked in Castaway Cay overnight and the girls were excited to get off the boat right away to play at the beach.  The weather wasn't perfect, but they did get time to play on the beach and on the waterslides before the weather turned.

While Jamison napped with Nana after lunch, we took Jessica back to the island for some bike riding.  On the way to the bikes, we stopped to look at the Christmas decorations.

Our first stop on the bike ride was the lookout tower, which was a bit away from the ship.

We had some fun taking photos there.

Then, it was back on the bikes for more exploring.

What we found wasn't too shabby!

As we headed back on the boat, Jessica ran into her friend Chip and Dale.  They remembered her from when she wore the Chip and Dale outfits with Jamison.

Back on the ship, it was time for some fun as it was Pirate Night.  The girls enjoyed meeting Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.

And, they ran into Chip and Dale yet again!

At dinner, everyone got a pirate bandana.

That night, there was a big party on the decks and fireworks.  Both girls were so exhausted and didn't make the celebration though.

you can never see Ariel too many times

Evidently, you can never see Ariel or any of the Disney characters too many times (at least according to our girls).  After we got back from playing at the Atlantis in the Bahamas, the girls had a chance to see Ariel again.

Our Disney Thanksgiving Cruise - Key West, Florida

Before we got to Key West, we had breakfast on the restaurant at the top of the ship.  The girls enjoyed eating outside despite it being very windy.

They really loved how the wind did funny things to all of our hair, so we spent a bit of time walking on the top deck.

In Key West, we visited the butterfly garden and aquarium.

Evidently, the butterfly garden has one of the largest collections of butterflies in the world.

The girls enjoyed sitting on the butterfly bench.

Inside the garden is a very cute pair of flamingos.

Once we got back on the boat, the girls met even more Disney characters.

Chip and Dale were ecstatic to see the girls wearing them on their clothes!

Our Disney Thanksgiving Cruise - First Day at Sea

After leaving Texas, we had a day at sea before we got to Key West, Florida (our first port of call).  The weather was a bit colder than expected, but there was still lots for all of us to do onboard the ship.

In the mornings, the girls got up and watched new to them Mickey cartoons.  Jamison loved sitting in the top bunk where Jessica slept to watch TV.

The girls got their hair braided one day.

Despite the colder temperatures, they even went swimming in the pool.  I preferred to stay bundled up in a blanket on the deck nearby.

While at sea, the girls also got to see some of the Disney princesses.

Other characters were out too.  One night, the girls got to see Peter Pan.
