Jamison loves the ELC.  Here she is playing with puzzles (surprise, surprise).

This year, Jessica started first grade a few days before Jamison started  ELC A at the same school.  Here is Jessica on her first day of school before we left the house.

When we got to her class, her first job was to make her name tag.  First grade is a bit different than Kindergarten because there are assigned seats.

After she made her name tag, she could browse the class library.  She was excited to see so many books!

It was also fun to see some friends in her class too.

Later in the week, Jamison started ELC A.  We were lucky to get her out of the house and to school on time.  We were also lucky to get a photo of her in the classroom.  She was willing when we finally suggested that she take a photo with Carl (the class dog).

What she wore on the first day of school was not quite what we had hoped she would wear.  She had lots of pretty dresses to choose from in her closet.  The next week, she finally decided to start wearing some of them.

Dress-up Time

Jessica and Jamison love to do dress-up with me.  Here is what I normally look like after they have had glammed me up.

Jessica loses her third tooth

As soon as Jessica got home from Indiana, she lost her third tooth. It had been wiggly for some time, and she finally decided to pull it out when she got home from her summer trip.

Jessica's summer trip to Indiana

At the end of summer, Jessica spent a week with her daddy's family in Indiana.  She flew with her Mimi to Indiana.

  The first stop was the Indianapolis Zoo, where Jessica got to feed a giraffe.

She loved the animals, but the most exciting part was the roller coaster, which she rode over and over again.

The piggyback ride from Aunt Jenny was pretty fun too.

Another fun stop was the Indianapolis Children's Museum.

Jessica also got to spend more time with Aunt Jenny and her horse later in the week.  She absolutely loved riding the horse.

She really thought that time on the farm was fun.

It was also fun to go swimming in the pool with Aunty Jenny.

The best part of the trip, however, was the trip to the American Girl Store in Chicago.

Jessica brought her "Jessica" doll on this trip and Josephina joined her doll family that day.

It seems like Jessica, Mimi, and Jenny all had a nice lunch.

Before heading home, Jessica had the chance to go boating on the lake.

Swimming in the lake with her aunts and uncles was pretty fun.

Jessica had the best vacation ever!
